"Coin Laundry in Shirokane, 11:37pm"
By Martin
This is Tokyo. At every corner, you might encounter something that makes you stop, look, think... and draw. I "met" this laundromat during one of my neverending walks through Tokyo's mysterious backstreets. It was exactly like this: lost in the half darkness of Tokyo's night, with this yellow glowing light. No noise but the spinning of the laundry machine as an old man waited, sitting on a chair. I waited with him for a moment as I sketched this.
