A few interesting facts about fast food in Japan:-
- One can often find people sleeping - and not just homeless folks but salary men and tired office ladies too.
- One can often see students studying with their textbooks sprawled around the table with a cuppa coffee which gives them the ticket to sit hours on end studying. Many students say they do this because it is more often than not quieter than studying at home and some even say they do it because they get to use the air conditioning for free.
-Another interesting thing about fast food places is that one can often see unattended bags just left on a chair. In Japan, it's a person's way of saying "I've taken this seat and will be back."
If they tried that in any other country it would probably be something like (by the thief) "I'm taking this bag and not coming back."
