A Small Taste of Italy

Above is the entrance.
Actually, there is not much more to the restaurant than this!
After you come through the door
and greet the smiling master, you may notice a self-serve beer tap to your
right, up in a nook. There's just not enough room to keep that behind the
counter.
This is the owner and his kitchen
space. You can see his entertainment system in this shot as well (the yellow
speakers), which is used to play appropriate Italian music. There was
talk of putting a pizza oven next to the cabinet that holds the speakers.
The dish in this shot is a pasta
dish that uses squid. It was wonderful; this cook is a master. You may
even say a big fish in a small pond. He was very friendly and chatted about
cooking in Italy and England with the customers. Besides the pizza oven,
his dreams include maybe one day getting a place that is slightly bigger, but
you can't beat the charm of this small setup!
