Enjoy Tokyo Canals!

My very first time in Tokyo, I was kind of dismayed by these not so deep "canals."  Nothing but three cm of water, and some random garbage ! Less glamorous than Venice canals for sure. I was soon informed that they're not meant for some touristic romantic night cruise, but just in case of flooding.

We live in a pragmatic era...
